Senior GCP Cloud Platform Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior GCP Cloud Platform Engineer to join key initiatives delivered for one of the world's largest players in the energy sector. This role offers the opportunity to drive modern cloud engineering practices within Google Cloud Platform and contribute to large-scale enterprise transformation and modernization programs.

Work location: On-site at the client's office in Dammam, Saudi Arabia

In this position you will:

Design, implement, and evolve enterprise-grade platforms within Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Build scalable and secure landing zones aligned with organizational standards and best practices.
Develop and maintain infrastructure modules based on Google Fabric Fast.
Create and manage Terraform modules to fully automate cloud environment deployment and management.
Design, implement, and enhance advanced DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
Support clients in application migration and transformation initiatives towards cloud-native architectures.
Act as a technical subject matter expert for project teams and client stakeholders.

We are looking for you, if you:

Have at least 7 years of experience in cloud platforms, infrastructure automation, and enterprise-scale deployments.
Possess strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform and cloud-native architecture principles.
Are an expert in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Have hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for cloud infrastructure.
Have worked with Google Fabric Fast and can leverage it to build secure enterprise cloud environments.
Have solid knowledge of cloud networking, security, IAM, and Kubernetes/GKE.
Have experience with application migration and modernization projects on GCP.
Can serve as a technical expert and support teams in solving complex technical challenges.
Communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken.
