Business Development Manager (Banking)

As our company continues to grow, we are expanding our Sales Team in Poland with a strong focus on the banking sector. We are looking for a Business Development Manager who will actively grow our client portfolio among banks and financial institutions, build long-term business relationships based on a deep understanding of the industry's unique challenges, and strengthen cooperation with our existing partners.

In this position you will:

  • Actively expand our client portfolio within the Polish banking sector by acquiring new business partners while strengthening and growing existing client relationships.
  • Advise clients as a trusted partner, drawing on expert knowledge of banking operations, business models, and the regulatory landscape, with a focus on addressing real operational and strategic challenges.
  • Collaborate closely with Business Unit Heads to identify client needs, develop market hypotheses, and validate business opportunities.
  • Lead pre-sales activities, negotiate and close contracts, and ensure high-quality post-sales relationship management.
  • Build and develop a strong network of contacts within banks and financial institutions while proactively generating new business opportunities.
  • Translate complex technology solutions into clear business value, adapting communication to various stakeholder groups, including CDOs, CFOs, and Risk Directors.
  • Manage the sales pipeline in a structured and efficient manner by maintaining CRM accuracy, producing reliable forecasts, and driving opportunities from initial contact through to successful closure.

We are looking for you, if you:

  • Have at least 3 years of experience selling IT services or products to the banking sector, supported by a proven track record of results.
  • Have experience developing a sales pipeline using tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, sales automation platforms, and banking industry research.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to banking clients, understanding their needs in areas such as regulatory compliance, risk management, operational efficiency, and digital transformation, and translating those needs into tailored solutions and commercial agreements.
  • Have proven experience leading pre-sales processes, winning projects, closing contracts, and developing long-term client relationships through upselling and business expansion.
  • Leverage your professional network within the banking sector to generate new business opportunities and grow your client portfolio.
  • Communicate effectively with banking clients, navigating complex decision-making structures and regulatory requirements.
  • Consistently achieve sales targets by identifying solutions, removing bottlenecks, maintaining momentum throughout the sales cycle, and successfully closing opportunities.

Additionally, we value:

  • Experience with sales automation tools, including platforms supporting advanced outbound sales campaigns.
  • Knowledge of IT services such as custom software development, process automation, cloud solutions, data engineering, and UX/UI, particularly in the context of the financial services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the financial sector, demonstrated through experience working with large enterprise clients in both outbound business development and account management roles.
